But Baker’s work for Disney theme parks may be his best-known – at least to anyone who has ever experienced the Haunted Mansion, It’s a Small World or the Hall of Presidents. His scores form the musical backdrop for dozens of Disney films and television programs from the ’50s to the early ’80s. The Fantasy Fan Club, an organization of Disney-ana enthusiasts, recognized Baker’s 29 years of artistic achievement for Disney. “This is from the fans, and that’s why it’s important,” Baker said.
